Orca - Wintersleep Live at Starlite
Best Wintersleep song. Gives me goosebumps every time. Pretty epic capture on this vid. I went out to an Oilers' game the night of the show. I didn't have tickets(idiot) but I decided I would chance it and see if anywhere left at the door. No Luck. I could hear the music from outside the old brick venue, it was raining slightly but unseasonably warm out for an Alberta evening in October. So I hung around outside with the smokers and listened, until a couple came out looking rather unhappy. I asked them if I could buy their tickets tickets off them if they were not returning. They were awesome and just gave me a ticket for free. So I managed to catch half the show. This was the encore. Best night alone in the city I can remember. Plus I didn't pay for parking at either venue!

Volcanoes - Matt Good
Matt Good's latest album Vancouver is blowing me away. I wrote it off way to fast when it first came out. 5 stars. Also I love this weird picture that the person who loaded this up to youtube chose.
